Key Responsibilities\n

• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client, incorporating thorough assessments and evaluations.

• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy, employing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Engage in ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring comprehensive support and care for clients.

• Maintain accurate, detailed clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Stay current with advancements in mental health practices and research, leveraging professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC, your clients will primarily consist of individuals facing various challenges, including stress management, workplace conflicts, and mental health disorders. You will provide essential support to clients dealing with psychiatric issues and substance abuse, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique situations. This role is integral in assisting clients in navigating their emotional difficulties, enhancing their quality of life through effective treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals struggling with substance abuse issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
