Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in a rehabilitation setting to develop customized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that utilize a variety of techniques, including exercise routines, hands-on therapy, modalities, and assistive devices as necessary.
• Monitor and document patient progress throughout their recovery journey, adjusting treatment plans based on individual needs and response.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, pain management strategies, and preventive care practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physicians, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Stay updated on best practices in physical therapy through participation in workshops, seminars, and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center caters to a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and elderly individuals facing various challenges. Patients may present with conditions such as post-operative recovery, neurological disorders, sports injuries, and chronic pain. As a Physical Therapist, you will address both the physical and emotional aspects of rehabilitation, helping patients restore function and regain independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

• We require a minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
