This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to deliver therapeutic services while maintaining a balanced work-life dynamic. While you will primarily work independently, you will also engage regularly with a collaborative team of mental health professionals, educators, and support staff to ensure the integrated care of students. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of students' mental health needs through one-on-one interviews and questionnaires, carefully analyzing their emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, establishing specific, measurable goals for improvement in collaboration with students, parents, and educational staff.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, including individual psychotherapy, crisis counseling, and group therapy sessions tailored to diverse student populations.

• Provide ongoing evaluation of students' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary in collaboration with the student and caregivers.

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal regulations, and best practices in mental health and substance abuse intervention.
\n
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and develop relationships with educators to integrate therapeutic support into students’ academic environments.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of treatment sessions, assessments, and progress notes, adhering to best practices in documentation to support continuity of care.

• Educate families about mental health issues and available community resources, equipping them with the tools needed to support their children.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on a diverse population of children and adolescents experiencing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your work will directly contribute to their emotional and psychological growth, helping them navigate personal challenges while enhancing their academic performance and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Required: Valid social work license in Washington State (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in accordance with state regulations.

• Master's Degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to interact effectively with students, families, and team members.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating empathy and cultural competence.

• Options for remote care delivery and an understanding of telehealth modalities is a plus.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a school setting or with youth is highly desired.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or play therapy is preferred to tailor interventions effectively.

• Experience with crisis intervention and management in high-stress environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 122,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
