Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health status and emotional needs of clients, leveraging both clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Develop, implement, and continuously review personalized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client, adjusting interventions as required to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapeutic interventions, employing various evidence-based methodologies tailored to the client's situation.

• Monitor client progress through regular check-ins and documentation, ensuring that treatment goals are met in a timely fashion.

• Deliver crisis intervention services as necessary, offering immediate support to clients in distress and coordinating care with other professionals.

• Maintain accurate, confidential client records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards to uphold our commitment to client privacy.

• Collaborate effectively with our interdisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and medical staff, to ensure seamless, comprehensive care for all clients.

• Engage in ongoing training and professional development, staying updated on best practices and relevant advancements in the field of mental health treatment.

• Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards as outlined by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and related organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a diverse clientele that includes individuals from various age groups and backgrounds, with a focus on faith-based clients seeking mental health support. Our patient demographic may also involve individuals in and transitioning from the county jail system, thereby presenting unique challenges and opportunities for impactful intervention.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.

• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) in California.

• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of three years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is required, preferably in a telehealth environment. Experience working with faith-based populations and familiarity with evidence-based therapies are highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
