Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, needs, and treatment goals.

• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans that utilize evidence-based practices to address specific mental health issues.

• Engage clients in regular therapeutic sessions, providing ongoing support and guidance to facilitate personal growth and healing.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, employing strong crisis management skills to support clients during challenging situations.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to enhance therapeutic approaches and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, each presenting unique mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. Our patient demographic is varied, allowing you to gain experience with individuals from different backgrounds and with differing life experiences. As a culturally competent practitioner, you will adapt your therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of your clients effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid counseling license (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) in the state of California.

• A minimum of four years of clinical experience working in mental health settings.

• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and a familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy sessions utilizing culturally responsive methodologies.
