Founding Head of Ad Sales

Founding Head of Ad Sales You'll set the foundation of our ad sales team, defining sales process, pitch, pricing, and leading execution as we scale. Responsibilities Own and close a pipeline of direct advertiser and agency deals. Create the ad sales strategy for a new format, including retention and upsell of existing customers. Codify GTM motion: outbound, pitch materials, pricing, legal, deal structures, etc. Leverage existing relationships and build new ones with senior buyers at brands and agencies. Build and lead the ad sales team: recruiting and hiring top talent. Represent Koah at industry events and in market conversations. Qualifications 8‑15 years of experience in ad sales. Historically closed deals of $100k+ per month in ad spend. Experience selling into large brands, agencies, or performance marketing teams. Ability to be an individual contributor and manage a team. Background at a small startup. Existing advertising sales contact network. Comfortable with frequent product and playbook changes. AI‑native; proficiency with Claude and similar tools.
