Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate client symptoms, establishing a clear understanding of the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorders on their daily lives.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and tailor individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals, preferences, and personal values.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to foster positive change in clients’ mental health.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Continuously monitor client progress, documenting treatment outcomes and making adjustments to treatment plans in line with best practices.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and primary healthcare providers, to deliver integrated care that optimizes patient outcomes.

• Stay abreast of advancements in mental health research and best practices, incorporating new knowledge into your therapeutic approach.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to enhance clinical expertise and contribute to the center’s mission.

• Advocate for clients, helping to promote understanding and reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our patients come from various backgrounds and demographic groups, providing you with the opportunity to apply culturally competent care tailored to a wide range of psychological needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment methods, including CBT and DBT, specifically in treating mood disorders.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A thorough understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with mood disorders in an outpatient setting is highly desirable. Candidates with a proven track record of implementing successful treatment plans and achieving positive patient outcomes will be preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
