Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while providing the support and resources you need to thrive as a Mental Health Counselor. You will conduct therapy sessions through a telehealth platform, facilitating connections with clients using secure video conferencing technology. Key Responsibilities\n

Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at delivering top-quality mental health services, including but not limited to:

• Conducting individual, couple, and family therapy sessions to address a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

• Collaborating actively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals, to devise and implement personalized treatment plans.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in therapy, mental health trends, and customer care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will primarily work with a diverse client population ranging from children to adults, including individuals grappling with acute mental health disorders, families navigating systemic challenges, and couples seeking to strengthen their relationships. Your expertise will significantly influence their journey towards improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• A valid New Jersey state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a commitment to providing quality client care.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, with an ability to cultivate rapport with clients and collaborate with a healthcare team.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and familiarity with telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While the above qualifications are required, we would also value additional experience in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, or family systems therapy. Experience in a remote work setting is advantageous and will aid in transitioning effectively to our telehealth platform.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
