Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement mindfulness-based interventions including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) tailored to individual client needs, with an emphasis on stress reduction and emotional balance.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments, identifying sources of stress, personal challenges, and therapeutic goals, allowing for customized mindfulness practice plans.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques, facilitating enhanced self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Organize and lead group workshops and classes centered on mindfulness practices, strategies for stress management, and resilience-building techniques tailored to diverse client groups.

• Integrate mindfulness techniques into one-on-one therapy sessions to effectively address specific mental health concerns, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to design and execute comprehensive treatment strategies that incorporate mindfulness practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
