Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher, supporting young learners in a nurturing and collaborative school environment. This contract position begins July 29th, 2026, and extends through May 21st, 2027, including valuable pre-planning days to ensure a confident start. Work full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday through Friday, from 7:00am to 3:00pm, guiding students primarily in Kindergarten through 2nd grade, with the potential for a single instructional segment in upper grades if needed.

Enjoy a manageable caseload with no more than 10 students, and currently, no significant behavioral concerns or toileting needs anticipated. This allows you to devote more attention to instructional support and developmental progress, fostering both academic and social success for each child.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active GaPSC Teaching Credential with at least a P-12 Special Education General Curriculum Endorsement.
• Demonstrate adaptability, patience, and a passion for differentiated instruction in diverse learner environments.
• Prior experience with young children preferred, ideally in Special Education classroom settings.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and school staff.
