Work Environment\n

This role operates primarily in a remote setting with structured outpatient services, combining the flexibility of telehealth technologies and occasional in-person appointments when necessary. Our typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a work-life balance conducive to personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individual and family needs to tailor interventions effectively.

• Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs, ensuring they remain adaptable as client situations change.

• Provide direct counseling services that address issues such as trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, and various mental health disorders.
\n
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation, including patient histories, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights about client psychosocial needs to foster holistic treatment approaches and improve client outcomes.

• Engage in continuous education regarding emerging trends in mental health methodologies and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse client base, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges and life stresses. This includes addressing the needs of those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic violence, and substance use disorders. Your understanding and approach will play a pivotal role in enhancing the mental wellness of individuals from all walks of life in our community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in California is mandatory.

• Proven experience providing therapeutic services to diverse populations, preferably in outpatient settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with crisis interventions and clients with complex psychosocial stressors is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in counseling and therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
