Refresh & Motion Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our rehabilitation facility, which boasts modern equipment and resources to support our therapists in delivering top-notch care. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, providing structured hours that allow for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients, which include reviewing their medical history, performing physical assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies effectively to patients and their families, involving them in the goal-setting process to enhance motivation and adherence to treatment.
• Implement treatment protocols designed to meet the unique needs of each patient, adapting strategies as necessary based on their progress and changes in condition.
• Consult with interdisciplinary team members to provide a holistic approach to care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient's health are considered and addressed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely entries for each patient interaction, which reflects the full spectrum of care from initial evaluation through discharge.
• Demonstrate effective time management, ensuring that patient schedules are adhered to, while also participating in team meetings and community marketing events.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development to keep abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
• Support patient access to care by removing barriers and maintaining a flexible schedule to accommodate diverse patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a wide array of patients, including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, and rehabilitating after sports injuries. We provide personalized care that considers each individual's unique health history and lifestyle. Our approach emphasizes patient engagement to achieve optimal recovery outcomes while fostering strong relationships built on trust and respect.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred, although new graduates with a strong clinical rotation may also be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
