Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather thorough patient histories, determining appropriate treatment paths and therapeutic interventions.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and promote the overall well-being of our clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster peer support among patients, providing a platform where they can share experiences and coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multi-disciplinary professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for each patient, aligning treatment goals and strategies across disciplines.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, exhibiting resourcefulness and calmness in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available to aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient progress, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on individuals affected by trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The clinic serves a diverse client base, where you will be instrumental in guiding patients through their recovery processes by applying your specialized knowledge in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
