Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the patient's history and develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including techniques like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively facilitate trauma recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist patients in processing their trauma experiences and developing healthy coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, integrated care for our clients, enhancing their overall treatment journey.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources to promote understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient information.

• Participate actively in ongoing training, team meetings, and professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care practices and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals who have experienced trauma, offering therapeutic interventions designed to address symptoms related to PTSD, complex trauma, and related disorders. Understanding the unique narratives and backgrounds of each patient is crucial in forming a therapeutic alliance and providing effective support in their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and the ability to apply trauma-informed treatment methods effectively.

• Proficiency in working with electronic health record systems and related software applications.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.
