This full-time, onsite position plays a key role in delivering exceptional healthcare services to patients facing chronic pain challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments, including thorough medical histories and physical evaluations to identify pain causes and impacts.
• Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, therapy options, and interventions tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Perform a range of pain management procedures, including joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections, as per credentialing and competency standards.
• Monitor and document patient progress diligently, adjusting treatment methodologies based on clinical assessments and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and current patient records through our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
• Engage in continuous professional education and training opportunities to remain abreast of the latest best practices and innovations in pain management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic comprises individuals suffering from various chronic pain conditions including, but not limited to, back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and neuropathic pain. You will work closely with a diverse range of patients, addressing not only their physical pain but also helping manage related psychological impacts. This position requires a compassionate, patient-centered approach, ensuring the delivery of empathetic healthcare at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience specifically in pain management or a closely related medical field.
• Current and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of New York.
• Completion of a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by a nationally recognized certifying body.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a strong focus on patient engagement and education.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is 2 years of experience, candidates with additional training or specialization in pain management or interventional techniques will be highly regarded. Experience with EMR systems, as well as familiarity with the latest pain management therapies and guidelines, is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Stonebridge Pain Solutions offers a competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
