Stonebridge Pain Solutions is actively seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA) to support our dedicated team at our surgical center located in Batavia, New York. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art surgical center in Batavia, New York. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, gathering complete medical histories and performing detailed physical examinations to understand each patient’s condition.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment plans that consider patient preferences and clinical indications.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and interventions tailored to address specific pain management needs.
• Perform pain management procedures such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections, following both established protocols and state regulations.
• Regularly monitor patient progress through follow-up visits and adjust treatment protocols as necessary, ensuring continuity of care.
• Document patient interactions and updates accurately using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, facilitating seamless communication among the care team.
• Engage in ongoing professional education and training to stay updated on the latest advancements in pain management techniques and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals experiencing chronic pain due to various conditions, including but not limited to arthritis, fibromyalgia, sports injuries, and post-surgical pain. The successful Physician Assistant will adopt a compassionate, patient-centered approach, working diligently to understand each patient’s experience and goal, and developing effective strategies for relief.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant from a nationally recognized certifying body.
• A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to function independently yet integrate smoothly within a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in pain management or a similar clinical setting is required, candidates with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies and specialized training in pain management are highly preferred. Experience with a wide range of pain management techniques and interventions will be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
