Key Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate patients presenting with various pain management needs, conducting thorough assessments and obtaining comprehensive medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging studies and labs as necessary to inform treatment decisions.
• Design and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances, which may include prescribing non-narcotic medications and referring patients for physical therapy.
• Schedule and oversee interventional procedures, ensuring that patients are well-informed and comfortable throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records, documenting all clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient interactions.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus on patients suffering from chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, neuropathy, and post-surgical pain. Our diverse patient population ranges from young adults to seniors, each presenting unique challenges that require a tailored and holistic approach to pain management. You will play a critical role in not only alleviating physical discomfort but also addressing the emotional and psychological aspects of chronic pain.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a closely related field is required.
• Possession of an active state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Strong proficiency in conducting detailed physical examinations and diagnosing medical conditions.
• Excellent communication skills that facilitate effective interactions with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
