Although primarily remote, you may occasionally engage with colleagues at our Fairfax, Virginia, office for team meetings and professional development.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to determine personalized treatment plans for clients, ensuring they receive the most effective care.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing varying modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy tailored to individual client needs.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, for comprehensive and integrated care.

• Maintain accurate clinical records, adhering to all ethical guidelines and legal standards to ensure client confidentiality and safety.

• Stay engaged in continuing education by attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions to further enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will serve a diverse client population ranging from children to adults, facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and interpersonal conflicts. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
