Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview Client: Enterprise SaaS Organization Role: Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist Pay Rate: $28-$30/hr Location: Fully Remote Key Responsibilities Invoice Management: Receive, code, and process high volumes of vendor invoices with high precision. Workflow Coordination: Route invoices for internal approval and follow up with department heads to ensure timely processing. Payment Cycles: Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH transfers, and wire payments. Vendor Relations: Act as the main point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining positive long-term relationships. Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements and investigate any missing invoices or credits. Compliance & Reporting: Assist with month-end closing activities, 1099 processing at year-end, and maintaining digital filing systems for audit readiness. Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports to ensure compliance with company travel and entertainment policies.
