This position is fully remote, allowing for greater flexibility and convenience for both our counselors and clients. Leveraging telehealth technology, you will conduct therapy sessions through secure video conferencing, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of their own homes. Our telehealth facility is equipped with user-friendly tools to ensure a seamless experience for therapists and patients alike. Work hours are primarily from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotating basis, ensuring that we meet the varied schedules of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms, identifying the specific therapeutic approaches required for effective treatment.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that prioritize their individual goals, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Implement therapeutic interventions that are grounded in the latest research, monitoring client progress throughout the treatment process and adjusting strategies as needed.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques to foster understanding and support within their lives.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of all treatment sessions, assessments, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including case consultations and training sessions, to stay informed of the latest advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals in the treatment planning process.
