In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to provide vital mental health support to individuals facing challenges such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders through a highly collaborative and telehealth environment.

Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own home while maintaining flexibility in your work schedule. You will join a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality telehealth services, with a structured working week from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, along with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis. The tools we use for telehealth services include secure video conferencing platforms and an advanced electronic health record (EHR) system that ensures seamless communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients to ascertain the severity and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders, employing validated assessment tools and methods.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and goals, ensuring an individualized approach to therapy.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote recovery and equip clients with effective coping strategies.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, potential treatment options, and practical self-care strategies to empower them throughout their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Minimum of two years post-licensure experience, with a specialization in mood disorders highly preferred.

• Strong proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, is essential for success in this role.

• Comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
