Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, utilizing telehealth technology to facilitate therapy sessions and patient interactions. Our counselors connect with patients via secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring that they can deliver the highest standard of care while balancing personal and professional commitments. Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to adjust schedules based on patient needs, represent our standard operating hours.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' emotional, psychological, and social needs, leading to the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to provide effective, tailored interventions to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups targeting common mental health concerns to empower patients and foster a sense of community.
\n
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to optimize patient care by ensuring holistic and integrated support.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, effectively managing mental health emergencies and ensuring patients receive the immediate assistance they need.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to enhance their understanding and management of their mental well-being.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, employing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights to improve our practices and patient outcomes.

• Engage in continuing education and professional development initiatives to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse patient population includes individuals battling various mental health disorders, from anxiety and depression to more complex conditions like bipolar disorder and substance abuse issues. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in the state of Maryland as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C is mandatory.

• Thorough knowledge of mental health disorders and current therapeutic methodologies.

• Experience in executing comprehensive assessments and developing effective treatment strategies tailored to individual patients.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to relate and connect with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
