Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setting while maintaining direct contact with clients via telehealth platforms. Our team operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to cater to patient requirements. This arrangement fosters work-life balance while ensuring high-quality mental health support is readily available to our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to identify the unique needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that address individual developmental stages, integrating family dynamics into the therapeutic process.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to treat a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to nurture a supportive environment for their children.

• Work collaboratively with a team of child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure seamless patient care and holistic approaches.

• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, responding effectively and compassionately during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to empower their journey to wellness.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation as mandated by legal and ethical standards, utilizing our advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education to enhance your skills and contribute to team knowledge.

• Stay current on research and advances in child and adolescent psychiatry to continuously improve the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and various behavioral issues. Our focus is on providing comprehensive and individualized care that not only addresses the immediate mental health concerns but also promotes long-term well-being and resilience in young patients.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Strong understanding of developmental psychology, child behavioral issues, and applicable therapeutic methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation and tracking patient progress.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a focus on high-quality patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in child and adolescent mental health settings.

• Experience in delivering individual and family therapy, with evidence of successful client outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually , commensurate with experience.
