Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain the needs and challenges faced by clients, developing personalized treatment plans based on these assessments.

• Implement various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailored to individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups, providing participants with skills and resources to better manage their mental health.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for each client.

• Offer crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring client safety and stability.

• Educate clients about mental health issues, available treatments, and relevant community resources to empower their recovery journeys.

• Maintain confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring quality assurance and continuity of care.

• Engage actively in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and case consultations to enhance clinical practices and uphold the clinic’s standards.

• Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health research and methodologies to improve therapeutic practices continually.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from those struggling with severe mood disorders to individuals facing challenges related to substance use. Our community health clinic serves a dynamic population, including underserved groups who may have limited access to mental health services. Your role will be pivotal in reducing stigma and improving mental health access within the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and effective therapeutic approaches, particularly evidence-based practices.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments and developing appropriate treatment plans.

• Experience providing therapeutic services to a broad array of clients, including groups and families.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.

• Commitment to ethical practices and maintaining professional boundaries in all interactions.

• Comfort and experience with digital tools, including proficiency in EHR systems and general computer applications.
