Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, helping to identify appropriate and tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery while emphasizing resilience-building techniques.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma and developing effective coping strategies that promote healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for patients.

• Engage in crisis intervention and provide immediate support during trauma-related emergencies that may arise.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with resources to aid their recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, upholding legal and ethical standards as required by the profession.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to enhance the effectiveness of trauma-informed care within our organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering empathetic and non-judgmental care.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions effectively.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting, contributing to discussions aimed at improving patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting, preferably with a focus on trauma.

Compensation and Benefits\n
