Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify and prioritize mental health needs.
\n
• Provide individualized therapy sessions for clients, utilizing therapeutic modalities suited to the unique challenges of each client, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
\n
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including detailed treatment plans, billing, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring completion within specified time frames.
\n
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies to assist clients in maintaining stability and achieving their personal growth goals.
\n
• Engage in case consultation and participate in weekly agency meetings to share insights and enhance collaborative care approaches.
\n
• Stay informed and compliant with current federal and state regulations, as well as agency policies and procedures.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including mandatory training and specialized workshops to enhance your clinical skills.

• Facilitate the creation of discharge plans to support clients’ transitions out of therapeutic services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse community of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational difficulties. Our telehealth services particularly focus on enhancing access for those who may encounter barriers to traditional in-person therapy, providing compassionate support to underserved populations in the New York area.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.
\n
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New York.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of direct experience providing individual and family therapy, with a focus on evidence-based practices.

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is advantageous but not required.
\n
• Proficiency in billing processes, documentation, and familiarity with insurance Authorization procedures.
