Work Environment\n

This role allows for a remote work setting, providing flexibility while maintaining a structured clinical experience that adheres to the demands of the community we serve. Our work schedule generally runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the understanding that some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to accurately understand the unique experiences of each patient, leading to tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, customizing the approach based on individual cultural backgrounds and personal experiences.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, effectively addressing mental health concerns while promoting resilience and overall well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, utilizing strong crisis management skills to stabilize patients effectively.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.

• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment modifications, while also engaging in cultural competency training sessions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches, with a strong emphasis on cultural competence.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy, focusing on inclusive methodologies that cater to diverse patient backgrounds.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with clients from various walks of life.

• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other standard office software tools.

• A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines during therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Blaze Health offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
