Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing the Mental Health Counselor to provide services from their own home, while still being an integral part of our community health clinic. Working hours will generally be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to comprehend patients' unique experiences and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective care tailored to individual patients' cultural and personal contexts.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address a range of mental health concerns, helping patients develop resilience and improve overall well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care, enhancing patient outcomes.

• Deliver crisis intervention support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate therapeutic strategies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take charge of their mental health journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record systems.

Qualifications\n
