The Root Center For Advanced Recovery is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities

• Conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities to meet diverse client needs.
• Facilitating crisis intervention and providing immediate support to patients facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Performing initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional well-being of clients.
• Creating, implementing, and regularly updating individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.
• Actively participating in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on client care initiatives and contribute to comprehensive treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Root Center, you will predominantly work with clients dealing with the dual challenges of substance use and mental health disorders. You will be equipped to address various relational dynamics, thereby enhancing individual self-awareness and family functioning. This role is crucial in helping patients navigate their recovery journey, facilitating transformational change, and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Active and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing therapy, particularly focusing on substance use and mental health issues.
• Strong clinical skills demonstrated in psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Proficient knowledge of individual and family development across the lifespan.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches in the treatment of substance-related disorders.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and their application in therapy settings.
• Experience working in a remote environment, effectively utilizing online platforms for therapy and assessments.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
