Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough diagnostic evaluations and providing psychotherapeutic services tailored to the needs of individuals, families, and groups, particularly within our Intensive Outpatient Programs.

• Implementing evidence-based treatment modalities and interventions, such as crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, and family therapy.
\n
• Monitoring clients’ progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary while collaborating with psychiatrists and other behavioral health professionals.

• Engaging in therapeutic discussions to understand clients’ histories and current challenges, and utilizing the DSM guidelines for effective diagnosis.

• Participating in clinical team meetings, quality assurance initiatives, and peer consultations to enhance treatment efficacy and client outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Active LMFT license in the state of New York or a Psy.D.

• A Master’s degree or higher in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from a regionally accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing psychotherapy services, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
