Work Environment\n

This position is a fully remote role that leverages telehealth technology to provide counseling services. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for new and existing clients, tailoring individualized therapy plans based on their specific needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy to clients through individual and group sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on client care plans, sharing insights and strategies that enhance client outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay current on best practices in mental health care.

• Provide support and direction to clients facing emotional and psychological challenges, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, and trauma.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adolescents and families in the Gardnerville area who may be experiencing limited access to mental health services. This position requires sensitivity and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each client, including those dealing with complex emotional issues, substance use challenges, and relationship difficulties.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a direct clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertinent to mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
