This position operates remotely, allowing for flexibility in managing your work-life balance while participating in our outpatient office environment as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate and understand the needs of children and adolescents, ensuring an accurate diagnosis.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, integrating evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the developmental stages and unique family dynamics of each patient.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions, to address a variety of mental health issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that equip parents and caregivers with tools and strategies to create an emotionally supportive home environment.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support to children and adolescents during mental health emergencies, utilizing strong assessment skills to manage acute situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring a secure and organized documentation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapeutic focus is primarily on children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 years, addressing a diverse range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and developmental challenges. Our aim is to provide tailored therapeutic interventions that recognize the complexity of each individual's background and family situation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Strong clinical knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with young patients and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
