Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Zeiders Wellness Clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group sessions where clients can share experiences and support one another, fostering a sense of community.

• Individual Counseling: Provide tailored, one-on-one therapy sessions to help clients navigate their thoughts and feelings, establish coping mechanisms, and create action plans for future success.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals and preferences, ensuring a client-centered approach to care.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback methods to track clients’ progress and outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

• Team Collaboration: Engage with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to discuss cases and ensure comprehensive care for clients, sharing insights and strategies to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are engaged in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). These individuals often face a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and transitional stressors. Your role will be instrumental in providing them with the support and skills needed to overcome these hurdles and thrive.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Must hold a valid License as a Professional Counselor (LPC).
\n
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Ability to provide culturally competent care and support a diverse client population.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Previous experience working with young adults in an outpatient treatment setting.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or solutions-focused therapy.

• Experience delivering services via telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
