Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine individual needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Implement and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, ensuring clients receive the support best suited to their circumstances.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at building community and addressing shared mental health concerns.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to establish a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring clients have immediate access to support during urgent mental health situations.

• Educate clients about their conditions, available treatment modalities, and community resources that can further aid their recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records compliant with all applicable legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to stay abreast of advancements in the mental health field.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure in the state of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and various evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed mental health assessments and create effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy to a diverse population, demonstrating cultural competence.
