Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCPC at our center, you will be instrumental in the therapeutic process, utilizing evidence-based practices to support the mental health of clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging group sessions designed to help clients articulate their experiences, foster peer support, and develop essential coping skills.

• Conducting Individual Therapy: Provide one-on-one counseling that addresses the specific mental health needs of clients by exploring their emotions and behaviors, guiding them to formulate effective coping strategies and actionable plans.

• Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to formulate tailored, goal-oriented treatment plans that produce measurable outcomes.

• Monitoring Progress: Utilize various assessment tools to consistently evaluate client progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary.

• Collaborating Within a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with colleagues from various disciplines to ensure holistic care and optimal outcomes, facilitating seamless communication and coordination of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be primarily on young adults aged 18 to 30 who seek support in navigating their mental health challenges. By creating a safe, understanding environment, you will assist individuals in overcoming issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and transitional life stressors.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• Valid Illinois LCPC licensure is necessary for practice.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with clients and collaborate with team members.

• A commitment to client-centered care and cultural competency.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Clinical experience working with adolescents and young adults in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
