Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients to assess physical limitations, disabilities, and overall health history.
• Utilize your strong foundation in human anatomy to design and implement customized treatment plans that address specific patient needs and therapeutic goals.
• Employ evidence-based interventions and modalities such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to improve functional outcomes.
• Regularly monitor patient progress through detailed assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery paths.
• Document treatments, progress notes, and patient outcomes accurately using our electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain up-to-date patient information.
• Engage in interprofessional collaboration with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies, at-home exercise regimens, and self-management techniques to enhance recovery and prevent recurrence of injuries.
• Stay updated on industry advancements through continuous education and professional development opportunities provided by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Physical Momentum Therapy, you'll be working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain disorders. Qualifications

• Must possess an active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing caseload effectively.
