Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Agility Peak, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, facilitating open dialogue to gather relevant medical histories and current symptoms.
• Diagnose movement-related dysfunctions and develop tailored rehabilitation plans that align with both clinical best practices and patients' personal goals.
• Educate patients on proper therapeutic techniques and exercises that they can incorporate into their daily routines to enhance recovery and maintain physical health.
• Administer hands-on therapies, including manual manipulation, massage, and specialized stimulatory treatments to promote healing and mobility.
• Guide patients in the use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other equipment, ensuring they feel comfortable and safe in their use.
• Maintain accurate patient records, tracking progress against treatment goals and adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide resources and advice to patients and their families about home treatment options, reinforcing the importance of consistent practice between sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on a diverse patient demographic ranging from pediatric to geriatric clients. Our therapists address a wide variety of conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and neurological disorders. Each therapist is equipped to personalize treatments that cater not only to physical healing but also emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Proficiency in medical documentation and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• A proactive and flexible approach to patient treatment, allowing for adjustments based on individual progress.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
