Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, to develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and advanced modalities to facilitate pain relief and enhance mobility.
• Document and track patients' progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimum recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, self-care techniques, and utilize assistive devices effectively to promote independence.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share insights and strategies that enhance patient care and achieve better health outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest in physical therapy practices by attending workshops, reading professional literature, and networking within local and national professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient population ranging from children to elderly individuals, each facing unique challenges in their recovery process. You will engage with patients who have undergone orthopedic surgeries, experienced sports injuries, or deal with neurological disorders, tailoring your approach to meet their distinct needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage patients and families effectively.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other therapy-related technology.
• A flexible and adaptable mindset is critical to function effectively in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
