Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to individual client needs, aimed at reducing stress and building resilience.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to establish clients' stressors and therapeutic goals while developing personalized mindfulness practices.

• Facilitate individual and group mindfulness sessions, helping clients engage in techniques such as meditation, breathing exercises, and guided self-reflection.

• Design and deliver group workshops on topics such as stress management, emotional regulation, and mindfulness strategies to enhance well-being.

• Collaborate actively with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach that integrates mindfulness into the therapeutic process.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, progress, and treatment plans, adhering to organizational standards and privacy regulations.

• Engage in your own mindfulness practice and pursue continual professional development to deepen your expertise, especially in MBSR methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
