Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies, to address mental health issues.

• Provide ongoing support and psychotherapy sessions to clients, focusing on their emotional well-being and coping mechanisms during end-of-life transitions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and other social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and participate in regular team meetings to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient population comprises individuals receiving hospice care and their families, often facing grief, anxiety, depression, and psychosocial issues related to terminal illnesses. As an LCSW, you will be integral in providing emotional support to both clients and their families, facilitating open communication and coping strategies to help navigate this challenging phase of life.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits\n
