Must-Have: Experience with CPAP/BiPAP, med titrations, and charge-capable on nights.
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 31-bed mixed acuity unit.
This unit primarily supports medicine services and cares for a variety of stepdown and medical/surgical patients.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Applicants must be comfortable with CPAP/BiPAP and medication titrations.
Charge-capable on nights is required.
Floating to different units may be required as needed.
The documentation system used is EPIC.
Candidates must possess a valid state RN license.
Experience in telemetry and stepdown care is preferred.
Candidates must have strong skills in the management of dysrhythmias and use of rapid response teams.
Experience with feeding tube care and peripheral line management is necessary.
Candidates are required to know isolation precautions and wound care.
The unit operates with a daily census around 25.
Interdisciplinary support includes various therapy and service teams.
The unit primarily houses medicine teaching services within a mixed acuity setting.
Candidates must be aware of and comply with the necessary credentialing processes.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Professional references are required, including one from a manager or director.
