Role Overview Help define how advanced AI understands and evaluates fund-related contracts by applying hands-on funds law experience to contract redlining, simulated negotiations, and model evaluation. This part-time, contractor role supports the development of AI systems that improve legal risk identification and contract interpretation for fund formation, fund management, and related tech-driven workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises grounded in funds practice.
Review and assess AI-generated responses to contract scenarios, providing expert, actionable feedback to improve model accuracy and legal judgment.
Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria to rigorously and consistently assess AI performance on contract tasks.
Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.

Required Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Minimum of 2 years in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
Familiarity with standard M&A and fund-related agreements, including LPAs, subscription agreements, and side letters.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong analytical ability, including translating legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
Demonstrated interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology, and experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Compensation
~ Pay rate: $80.00 to $105.00 per hour.

Eligibility
Must hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and be actively admitted to the bar of at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm is required.
