Rehabilitation Physical Therapist (Full Time)

Position Overview Empower Move Physical Therapy, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Clifton, New Jersey. This role will be based onsite in our comprehensive rehabilitation center, which is equipped with advanced therapy modalities and technology. The position operates primarily during standard business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that benefits both patients and team members.

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical health, mobility, and functional capabilities to establish a baseline before developing treatment plans.

Design and implement individualized treatment strategies tailored to each patient's specific needs, ensuring alignment with their personal recovery goals and medical histories.

Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities including ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to enhance recovery.

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, which includes referring physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to provide comprehensive care for patients.

Educate patients and their families on injury prevention and recovery strategies, enabling them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, complying with all regulatory requirements.

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will serve a diverse patient base of all ages, focusing predominantly on individuals recovering from surgical interventions, fractures, sports injuries, and degenerative conditions. A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is mandatory.

At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is essential.

Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Specialization or significant experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred to enhance our team's expertise.

Familiarity with rehabilitation technologies and methodologies.
