Work Environment

In this full-time position, you will enjoy a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly assess each patient's physical condition and overall well-being to guide tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to reduce pain, improve strength, and enhance mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized home exercise programs that align with patient goals and capabilities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients about their conditions and provide guidance on lifestyle modifications to support long-term health and wellness.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes clearly and concisely in our digital health record system.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to further your skills and knowledge in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with a diverse population, primarily focusing on orthopedic cases involving post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your expertise will play a crucial role in restoring function and improving the quality of life for patients of all ages, from adolescents to seniors.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of exercise protocols.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and an untarnished professional record.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific populations, such as athletes or elderly patients, will be a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital documentation practices.
• Training in advanced therapeutic modalities, such as dry needling or kinesiology taping, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
