Work Environment

This position is housed within our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, which focuses on orthopedic rehabilitation. As a part of our dynamic team, you will engage with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' musculoskeletal conditions to identify specific needs and treatment goals.
• Developing and implementing individualized physical therapy plans that utilize a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education strategies.
• Maintaining meticulous records of patient progress and modifying therapy approaches as required, ensuring adherence to best practices and optimal outcomes.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote a seamless continuum of care, discussing patient feedback and progress during case conferences.
• Educating patients and their families on injury prevention, self-management techniques, and at-home exercises to sustain long-term health and mobility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with a diverse range of individuals, from active athletes to older adults, all seeking to regain their physical abilities and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active New Jersey state license for practicing Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience specializing in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating your ability to effectively manage and treat musculoskeletal injuries.
• A strong foundation of knowledge regarding orthopedic conditions and treatment methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate patient interactions and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is set at 3 years, we value candidates with additional experience in specialized orthopedics, manual therapy techniques, or sports rehabilitation. Compensation and Benefits
