This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. While the primary schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, we understand that patient needs may require some flexibility.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s personal and cultural context, enabling the development of effective, personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, fostering trust and adapting techniques based on individual client needs.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that encourage dialogue and healing for various mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver comprehensive care that addresses all facets of a patient’s mental health.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support as needed, ensuring clients receive timely help during mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, therapeutic options, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in case conferences and training sessions to enhance cultural competency and therapeutic skills.

• Stay current with ongoing research and best practices in mental health therapy to inform treatment decisions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or psychologist in Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and effective, evidence-based treatment approaches while exhibiting cultural competence in your practice.

• Proven experience in delivering therapy, both individually and in group settings, with a focus on culturally responsive methods.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, allowing for a calm and proactive approach during challenging circumstances.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities, facilitating strong rapport and trust with diverse client populations.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer literacy.
\n
• A commitment to ethical practice and maintaining professional boundaries while working collaboratively with peers.

Compensation and Benefits\n
