Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate Group Therapy: Lead engaging group therapy sessions that foster connection and shared experiences, helping clients discover communal pathways towards healing and personal growth.

• Provide Individual Therapy: Conduct personalized therapy sessions where you will listen empathetically to clients and assist them in exploring their thoughts, feelings, and coping mechanisms.

• Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to establish tailored, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their individual needs, preferences, and aspirations.

• Monitor Progress: Utilize various assessment tools to track client progress and evaluate treatment effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 who are participating in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often faces unique challenges related to anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders, and your role will be crucial in helping them navigate these obstacles while fostering a safe and therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy is required.

• Licensure: A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license is necessary to practice in New York state.

Preferred Experience\n

• 1-3 years of experience in mental health treatment, specifically with clients who have mood disorders or anxiety-related issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
