Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Remote Telehealth Position

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapists, including LMFTs, LPCs, and LCSWs, to join our team at Life Works Psychiatric Center in a full-time remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will engage with diverse clients and provide critical mental health support through telehealth services. Work Environment

Working from the comfort of your home, our remote telehealth setting offers flexibility while you connect with clients virtually. As a full-time therapist, you'll adhere to a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate client needs. This role fosters an open digital communication platform, enabling you to consult with colleagues, attend team meetings, and engage in continuous professional development without geographic limitations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately evaluate clients’ experiences and needs, paving the way for personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to effectively support individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate psychoeducational support groups through virtual meeting platforms to foster a sense of community and address common mental health concerns.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring well-coordinated, integrated care for all patients.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, equipping clients with coping strategies and resources during moments of acute mental health distress.
• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, enhancing their understanding and involvement in the therapeutic process.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation of patient interactions and progress in alignment with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights, best practices, and promote professional development among peers.
• Stay informed about current research trends and advancements in mental health therapy to enhance the effectiveness of treatment provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position involves working with a diverse range of clients, including those from various backgrounds facing an array of mental health challenges. Your expertise will be invaluable in delivering culturally competent care that is sensitive to the unique circumstances and needs of each patient, thereby improving their outcomes and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure in the state of Georgia as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Deep knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches utilized in clinical practice.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies.
• Experience in providing individual and group therapy to varied populations, bringing a tailored approach to each session.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
• Adherence to ethical standards and professional boundaries, ensuring the maintenance of client trust and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to leverage technology for efficient patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health counseling, with a preference for outpatient settings.
• Experience conducting telehealth sessions, demonstrating adaptability and proficiency with virtual communication tools.
• Exposure to crisis management or emergency interventions in mental health settings.

Compensation and Benefits
