Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from your home while adhering to telehealth practices. You will engage with clients via secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring that all communications remain confidential and protected in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments to determine the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients’ daily lives.
• Engage clients in the development of personalized treatment plans that address their specific psychological needs and treatment goals, collaboratively setting achievable objectives.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide sessions and promote meaningful change.
• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families regarding treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care techniques for managing mood disorders.
• Monitor client progress throughout the therapeutic process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to create a seamless, integrated approach to patient care, coordinating treatment as needed.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all client interactions, treatment outcomes, and plans following ethical and legal compliance standards.
• Participate in regular professional development sessions, case consultations, and team meetings to stay abreast of best practices and advances in stress and mood disorder treatments.
• Advocate for clients’ needs within the broader healthcare system, working to reduce the stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele comprises individuals facing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. You will engage with diverse populations, offering culturally competent care tailored to meet their unique experiences and backgrounds. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current valid licensure to practice as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
• Deep understanding and expertise in evidence-based therapies for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Strong communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds and facilitate a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Experience in conducting mental health assessments and developing treatment strategies that yield positive client outcomes.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in telehealth counseling and those who have demonstrated successful outcomes in managing mood disorders. Familiarity with psychopharmacology and the ability to work effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
