Prime Psychiatry Counseling Center is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) to provide exceptional mental health services remotely from El Paso, Texas. Work Environment

This therapist position is entirely remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements conducive to a healthy work-life balance. Staff members operate primarily via telehealth, leveraging innovative technology to connect with patients in their own environments. Our team adheres to a Monday through Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain insight into each patient’s unique lived experiences and individual challenges, helping to formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored specifically to address the needs of clients while taking into consideration their cultural and personal backgrounds.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing techniques that empower patients and promote resilience in the face of adversity.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care that aligns with patients' treatment goals.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies to ensure safety and stabilization for clients.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and resources available to foster understanding and encourage active participation in the therapeutic process.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment considerations, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions to hone skills and foster a collective approach to therapy.
• Stay informed on current research, best practices, and the most relevant cultural considerations in mental health therapy to continually enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at Prime Psychiatry Counseling Center, you will work primarily with a diverse array of clients, including but not limited to ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants. You’ll have the opportunity to utilize your cultural competency to effectively address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties, ensuring that all individuals receive tailored care that respects and aligns with their identities.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• A passion for providing culturally competent care and a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with an ability to engage empathically with clients.
• Proficiency with telehealth technology and maintaining confidentiality in remote settings.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in multicultural settings with diverse populations is highly desired.
• Prior telehealth experience or familiarity with digital health platforms will be advantageous.
• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic methods and treatments tailored for varied mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
